I’m a beginner in golf, and i don’t know which kind to get, mens or womens. Does it really matter? Though I do find more options in golf clubs with mens than womens.
I dont know if my height will have anything to do with it but I’m roughly 5′5.
im a girl.
You haven’t specified gender, which does make some difference. Womens clubs are designed for to suit the slower swing speed and smaller stature of the average female golfer. Typically the shafts are more flexible to maximise clubhead speed, and they are a little shorter, sometimes with smaller clubheads on drivers. For some reason womens clubs sometimes have different colour schemes too. If pastels and pinks arent your thing, you aren’t going to like some of those designs…
It is important to realise that all clubs are to some extent designed around average builds, so whilst not all women are weaker than men, the clubmakers have to assume that is the case to some extent.
Most standard mens clubs are designed around someone of average build around 5′10″ in height. A few inches either way and you can probably use these ‘off the peg’ models without problems. At 5′5 though, you might need to have the clubs adjusted if you plan on playing mens versions.
I have a callaway war bird 9° driver. The shaft is a new Apache Micro 58 shaft. From the top of the grip to the point it connects to the driver head it measures 43 inches. Is this a womans club or a mans. Also how do you determine how to measure it. Do you measure it like I stated above, or do you measure it from the top of the grip to the bottom of the club head?
Any help would be appreciated.
Who’s the female [athlete?] who is accused of being a man, posing for a magazine this month?
It was in the monologue on Conan tonight.
There’s some woman, who I believe is an athlete [tennis? golf?] who is trying to squash rumors of her being a man by posing on a magazine cover this month.
Any ideas who?

How can I promote the game of golf to women and girls?
live in Alabama so the focus here is on football. I would love to get more women and girls involved in the sport. What would you ladies look for when trying to decide where to play golf or purchase a golf membership? Guys what do you think can be done to get more women into golf since it can provide a lifetime of enjoyment? Thanks to all real and thoughtful answers!
Please don’t do that… It’s one of the last places that lads can hang out… Don’t be that guy…

What is the difference between women golf clubs and mens golf clubs??
So can a women use men golf clubs and still do good?
Like the others have said, women’s clubs are usually lighter and more flexible to accomodate the average woman’s slower swing speed.
Women can just as easily find that they need the specs offered by men’s clubs, and often male children should really start with women’s clubs until they get more comfortable with their swing, and strong enough to need men’s clubs.

What is the difference between women and men’s golf balls.?
I have an average swing speed. I drive the ball around 240 or 260. I have been playing Nike One Black and Bridgestone e5. I heard that a women’s golf ball may be better for me. Is this true?
Yes ladies precepts pink are the farthest golf balls on the LPGA tour! A ladies precept was created to hit 10-20yds further because people thought women couldn’t hit, that is the farthest thing from true! but if ur driving 260 then you are Hitting 30yds farther than me already and I’m 14 with a handicap of 8 so truly I wouldn’t worry about it, don’t give up the feel and control of a mens ball just because u want 10-20 more yds on ur drive
