free golf tips for women
Is this unfair of me?

My boyfriend wants to be with me 24/7 and i’m the kind of person that requires my space sometimes. He says he has a hard time with it because he’s never had a girlfriend that needed/or asked for space. He likes to golf in his free time i like to go hang out with 1 or 2 close friends here and there, have some dinner and a drink (never more than 2) and come home (never past 11). All my close friends are men. I get along better with men than women and everytime i try and make girl friends it fizzles. We just dont have anything in common! Is it unfair of me to ask some “Me” time from him? He feels like Im ditching him but i always let him know ahead of time and text him while im out and let him know what im doing. Any tips to help him deal?

Unless he can find a couple of women who like to play golf, so you two could be equal, yes, you are being unfair. Do you expect to go hang out in bars with a man who is “just a good friend” after you are married?

Keep working on finding a girlfriend, or limit your drinking buddies to men over the age of 85, or get ready to break up.

golf magazines list
Do you agree with this list of the 100 greatest sports stars ever, from Alpha magazine?

I’ll list the top ten.

10 – Lance Armstrong (Cycling)
9 – Carl Lewis (Athletics)
8 – Roger Federer (Tennis)
7 – Pele (Football)
6 – Rod Laver (Tennis)
5 – Diego Maradona (Football)
4 – Tiger Woods (Golf)
3 – Michael Jordan (Basketball)
2 – Donald Bradman (Cricket)
1 – Muhammad Ali (Boxing)

Personally, I don’t agree with Maradona being rated above Pele. Also, I thought Daley Thompson should be in the top ten, and maybe number 1. However, Ali is a good choice.

The compiler didn’t know much about motor racing, where is Michael Schumacher and Colin McRae, between the two of them they won more than a dozen world titles in F1 and rally respectively.

golf shirts with logos
Where can I find golf shirts with sponsors logo like the pros wear?

if you are looking for a literal golf player shirt, go to the PGA site online and also to that particular player’s site online. Often your larger online professional golf retailers will carry tour shirts as well. Do a google search and I bet you may find it. Good Luck!

how to get free golf stuff
Where can I get free home repairs caused by hurricane Wilma?

I’ve looked into the state & federal programs-there’s nothing I qualify for
or that is available.

Looking for someone who can donate time to do or help do repairs.
Even someone who has knowledge of how things should be done, would be helpful.
(Most of repairs not incredibly difficult, but do require someone who has done this
stuff before)

I need some stucco repaired, drywall in one room, some damaged wood replaced,
some holes dug for replacement fence posts and some assistance repairing the fence.
Also need to replace some window cranks for according windows.
And need some plywood cut to cover windows in case of future hurricane.
(I have plywood-I’m just not able to cut it)

I could probably pay something, but not allot.
I have misc items that could be used for trade: golf clubs & bag ,
bowling balls, several clothes dryers that need minor repairs, misc garage stuff.
IN MIAMI – NEAR NE 163RD STREET MALL

It sounds like you have exhausted the normal governmental agencies that take care of disaster victims. It also sounds like you live in your own house. What about your homeowner’s insurance agent? They can usually recommend or work with a contractor, even on small jobs.

In the end, your best bet might be a local church, or your own church if you are a member. It seems like several people might be able to take care of all of your problems in a half a day. Many church groups do this type of community work.

I hope this helps and I wish you good luck.

golf digest top 100
Can you help me break 70?

I am a 0.4 handicap and 19 years old and play golf just about everyday…I take lessons with a golf digest top 100 pro and I have only seemed to break 70 a few times with a career low of 68. I usually get on track to break 70 after the first nine by shooting par or better…then just fall apart…This must be a mental problem. any ideas?
O and I play pretty large tournaments around then state and never seem to perform as well as I should

It is a cliche, but you scores are held back beause you are thinking about score. As you get older you will learn to really value the process of playing competitive golf, and how mental discipline in sticking to your process is the key to lower scores. You stick to your routine, deal with where the ball ends up and the scores will come.
The other aspect to playing in competition is to change your mental approach to a golf hole. The key to making birdies is to play from the correct position as often as possible. You dont have to be perfect, you just have to get the ball on the right side. Tee shots, approaches, everything must come from the correct place to attack from. It is easier to make some 30 foot putts from the correct place than 4 footers from the wrong side. So you always cut the hole up into quadrants from the tee and play to your section on each shot.
And then most importantly you must play without fear of failure. Especially on the greens, you must play without fear. Stick to your routine, your process. Be mentally disciplined enough to do what you do regardless of score or situation. As things get tighter you must get stronger mentally. Have a clear picture of what you are trying to do on each shot, think clearly, and go through your process.Once you have hit the shot, move on to the next one. Always deal with the best way to handle the next shot, that is the only one you can do anything about anyway. Why waste energy on something that has already happened? Be mentally strong enough to maintain focus on the next shot. Tiger uses anger to sharpen his focus, most of us are distracted by it. Whichever way keeps you in the shot that is coming up instead of the one you just hit, that is the key to playing in competition.
