What’s a great starter set of golf clubs for men that don’t cost an arm and a leg?
My husband would love a set of golf clubs and golf lessons as a combo birthday gift. But since I don’t know anything about golf or how to shop for decent clubs, I’m loathing the trip to a local sports store. I need to know decent brands for a good starter set of clubs, the price range I should expect and the gear he’d need to get started. Please help!
The RAM, Acuity, and Walter Hagen are three great starter sets that don’t cost too much. Ram is available at wal-mart/target, acuity and walter hagen are available at dicks sporting goods.

Christmas gift ideas for a 30 year old man?
In my family, the siblings do a gift exchange for Christmas. I have my 30 year old brother in law. He is a business man, has a 2 year old son, and one on the way. He has a great sense of humor but I would rather get him something he could use, rather than a funny gift. He is also a big sports fan and plays golf frequently. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and we’re not supposed to spend over $30.
A golf ball? A tie? Baby clothes/toys for his son?
I’m not really good at thinking up of present ideas like this. The presents that I usually get for people are usually based on something that’s happened…if that makes sense – if it was an important incident or an inside joke maybe. I’d prefer to get something to suit their personality and fit them. So without really knowing much about him, all my present ideas are pretty obvious and boring, sorry.

I think you should try the latest version of Tiger Woods. Well, it depends on what kind of golf game. There are cartoon versions where you can hit the ball about 6 miles. & There are real versions like Tiger Woods.
& with card games. Usually the ones on the computer that came with your OS are the most reliable ones.

How can you buy US Open Golf Tickts at face value.?
You have to try to obtain them a year in advance. Right after the US Open, the USGA accepts ticket applications for next year’s US Open. This is just an application for tickets, there is no guarantee that you will get tickets. They put your application into a random drawing, and applicants are notified if they were or were not selected. If you’re selected, you send them your payment for tickets and they mail you the tickets the month before the event.
