How is someone’s handicap in golf calculated?
Hello!
I am trying to learn how to calculate a golfer’s handicap. I have seen the general formula. However, there are two situations for which I don’t understand how to figure them in:
1. How do I handle a course that does not have a course/slope rating?are these courses not applicable for calculation?
2. How do I calculate the handicap if 9 hole courses, or 9 holes of an 18 hole course, are played?

If they do not have the ratings on the scorecard, as the people in the clubhouse or the club pro.
9 hole courses are paired together chronologically.
