What golf clubs are best for a beginner ‘junior’ player?
My daughter is 9 years old, very tall for her age – about 57-58″. We went to SA and bought a set of Wilson WOMEN’s clubs – which were recommended. The golf coach says they are too big. Should we just go back to SA and buy the junior set of the wilson’s (which comes in pink) or go to a PGA store and buy US Kids clubs? The SA store is easier to get to, but I want what is better for her – as she seems to really like golf.
I couldn’t agree more with what was recommended…when I was about 5′0 (I’m a boy so 5′11 now) and starting out, I bought a complete set of ladies Wilson Reflexes for £250, 6 iron to SW with a putter, 3 wood, 5 wood and 2 hybrids! Great deal. They were well built, light, good to look at and performed as I improved. Lasted brilliantly until I finally stepped up to men’s clubs…which were Wilsons!

I want to sell a working Nintendo game cube online for $120.Its black.It will include 3 controllers 6 games(Mario stickers,Mario double dash,Mario golf,resident evil4 , wario ware inc, warioland.)
2 memory cads and all the cables.do you think this is a good price.If not what would be a good price. (its in good condition.)
(I have 2 game cubes so i wont mind selling 1)
holy shit that’s a good idea. i’m gonna sell my game cube for cash….
but i would say don’t include the games in the deal, or else don’t include all 6– you would make more money if you included like 4 for the $120 then sold the other two separately or something like that. That way the person buying the thing would have games to play with it so they’d want to buy it, but you still get to make some extra cash.
Can i bring a video camera to a public golf course?
can i bring a video camera to a public golf course and record or is that against the rules?
If the course is a public and not a private course then yes. The only exception to filming is if a course official asks you to stop or if a person asks you not to use their image.
Hello. Thanks for reading this. I was wondering what the golf terms, birdie, bogeym, double bogey, and triple bogey mean. Please tell me if you know. Thanks.
First of all, PAR is the recommended number of golf shots it “should” take to complete a particular hole on a golf course. I.E. A par 4 should take 4 shots to get the ball into the hole. All of the terms you asked about are names for your score on a hole. Birdie= 1 below par (i.e. a 3 on a par 4 would be a birdie) bogey= 1 over par Double bogey= 2 over par. Triple bogey= 3 over par.
Eagle= 2 under par Double eagle= 3 under par.
