What to expect from beginner golf lessons?
I’m going to take up a series of lessons (five 1hr sessions) for $300. what are reasonable expectations should I have from only 5 hrs of beginner lessons? Is it worth it or should I just pick up a book and head out to a driving range?
Lessons are the way to go. You will be shown the proper position of the hands on the club, ball placement, when to use what club. Some people can learn from a book and some can’t or maybe not as well.

Take golf lessons or not?
Would you spend the money to take lessons or just try and figure it out yourself with all of the free advise and videos available for free via the Internet?
I have been playing for a couple of years but still have the driver issues that I am having a hard time fixing. I have a hard time paying someone $100 hour for something I hope I could remedy myself. But fixing this issue (getting off the tee consistently would just make the game more enjoyable.
i have had lessons for years and its worth it. A coach can realise what you are doing wrong in seconds. but make sure you find a good coach

how do I fix an out to in golf swing and reduce my slice?
I have a slice and I have been trying to correct it, I know I have an out to in golf swing but I don’t know how to correct it and make it in to in. If anyone has any training methods or tips, please help lol.
Try putting your driver head cover about 3 inches to the outside of the ball. Lay it so the end of the head cover is even with the golf ball, and the rest of the head cover is toward your back foot (long ways). When you swing you will be able to tell instantly if you came from the inside. If you hit the head cover you came from the outside, if you miss the head cover you came from the inside.
Just make sure it’s a soft head cover, so you don’t damage your club.

I’m new to Orlando (Millenia area) and want to start taking golf lessons. Is there a reasonably priced driving range/golf course that offers beginner lessons close to the Millenia area.

Golf Lessons, which is the Best method?
I am trying to figure out which golf lesson I should approach. The traditional method of going to a PGA pro and learning or the GolfTec lesson with video.
I want to make the most out of my lessons and want to make sure I am getting my money’s worth given, it’s a small mortgage to get one done.
I have read many books, including Hogans 5 lessons, I am just trying to see if a pro will be able to be as sufficient as a video lesson. One thing I did enjoy about the video lesson is the ability to see myself in slow motion.
Go to the pro. He can see the mistakes you are making.

Where would be the best place to get golf swing improvement lessons?
I have been playing golf for about 3 years now and I have regressed. I cannot hit my irons at all. I either hit it fat or shank really bad. I have contemplated going to Golf-Tec, or my local golf course to seek a professional. I have also thought about individual teachers and online. Lastly I thought about buying videos. Any thoughts?
