In your opinion what are the best kind of golf balls, and what kind of balls can you buy in bulk for cheap?
my favorites are the Titleist ProV1x’s. Balls are kind of funny though. Each one hits a little different so its a matter of what works for you. I like low spin balls so i get more distance but i sacrifice spin (not like it really matters since they spin so damn much anyways…..)
Where are some good places to play golf in Orlando Florida?
I will be there in November. Are the Disney courses worth playing? I dont want to pay more than $100 for a round but I would consider it if it is really worth it.Which course at the Ginn resort hosted THE BIG BREAK on the golf channel?
grand cypress (designed by jack nicholas), reunion (designed by arnold palmer and gary player), orange county national are the nicest in the area. also, champions gate (by greg norman) is pretty nice.
but these are kinda pricy. if ur looking to go a little cheaper i am obligated to suggest falcons fire or orange lake.
ive heard the disney courses are also very nice, but i havent played them.
I do you can get them at www.mygolfballstore.com located in Southern Cal. The site seems to down right now is the only bad news. The owner’s name is Jim Johnson his e-mail is johnsonglf@aol.com
I’ve seen some sales on recycled golf balls, and a hell of a lot cheaper than they would be new.
How different is a recycled golf ball to a brand new golf ball? does it really matter between brand new or recycled?
are there certain grades of recycled balls?
also, i noticed that after using a new golf ball after several shots or holes, they seem to get a much…softer feel. to be honest, i hate soft feeling golf balls and prefer the hard and rigid type of golf ball. (thats what she said)
Will recycled balls lack this hardness feeling?
A recycled ball is one that’s been fished out of a lake, pond, creek, etc. or just found of the grounds of a golf course. Some could be in very good shape, no one knows how many times they’ve been hit. The ones found in water are not necessarily bad either. Some people think that is bad that they’ve sat in the water. Maybe not good for a pro, but I think all of us recreational golfers are always looking for ways to save money. A golf ball has a hard shell on it, it’s not a baseball or football, and it has no seams, so think about it. You can get 5 dozen recycled balls for about $27.
Would it be possible to buy Golf balls directly from a manufacturer?
A group of my friends and I are looking into buying a bulk load of golf balls against a very fair rate. We would like to bypass the middle guy and shop directly at the manufacturer. Has anybody got experience?
do not buy new golf balls. you can buy bulk loads of used golf balls online. you can specify the condition the balls are in and that would dictate the price (better condition, higher price).
Buy Used Golf Balls At Golf Ball Zone And Save A Ton Of Money
Well I want a job in golf. But I didn’t make it pro and I don’t want to travel much. I need good pay to support my children and wife and also have a decent sized house and still do well. What can I do?
I’m probably not the right person to help you but, you could be a golf instructor, and teach people, or you could be a “Caddie Master” (the “boss” of caddies). I found a website, listed in the “sources” below, it’s basically “Golf Futures”. Lists all of the careers relating to golf.
