How long does it take for golf drills to work consistently and for your own golf swing?
With the new drills, i dont seem to have as much distance with irons and driver as i used to. Why is this?
It can take several weeks of many hourly repetitions to groove the desired move the drill teaches. One reason your new swing may not achieve the desired distance is, you may still be conciously thinking about the movements you want to make instead of trusting your muscle memory to accomplish the swing. If that is it, your swing is not as fluid. Once you know how you want to swing the club, you can let it go to generate the needed club head speed because there will be no thinking.
Don’t really worry, changes take some time. Trust what you are learning will be better than what you had.

what is a good golf score for a beginner on 9 holes?
Im in grade 9 and today i went for fun to try out for the golf team. I have never played before except for a few times at the driving range. I got a score of 55 on 9 holes. Is that a decent score for a beginner?

How I drive the golf ball more on the sweet spot and not the heel?
I put some impact tape on my driver and I consistently hit the golf ball more towards the heel. I shoot in the high 80’s and have taken lessons for this problem. Video tape shows my hands pushing out slightly (towards the direction I’m facing). The results are pull hooks or outright shanks. Obviously lessons aren’t helping.
Any drills or tips would be great!
set up with the ball on the toe of the club.
