What does stable mean when talking about disc golf?
I have been watching a lot of youtube videos about disc golf, and they keep saying the word “stable.” Does that mean flying straight?
Yes when people are talking about Stable they are talking about a disc that is fairly straight. Then of course you also have overstable and understable. Some examples are: (I don’t throw much Discraft so these are all Innova)
If you are starting out everything will most likely seem overstable for you but once you start to develop a form you will start to see the disc start to straighten out for you and do what they are meant to.
At the bottom of the following there are some common disc golf terms in case you come across another you aren’t sure of.
and (different question), what is the best golf tournament in the world?
Pine Valley is the ‘consensus’ best course in the world – that is, when they rank the best courses in the world, Pine Valley almost always finishes #1.
Its so exclusive they don’t have tournaments there and turn away even PGA players!
As for the best golf tournament – I have to say the US Open because it attracts a better field than the Masters or British Open. The PGA Championship has the second best field of the four majors but isn’t as prestigious as the US Open.
World Golf Trick Shot Championship 2005 – Celtic Manor
Anyone know of any similar tournaments for fun? Travel?
I’m heading to Orlando to play in this tournament. In order to keep my game up and have fun through winter, do any of you know any similar tournaments that you have either played in or know about?
Played in this last year. It’s a GREAT tournament! How many tournaments have golf, lodging, booze and prizes for the fee….LOL

I was trying to remember the name of a mini golf course. I believe it is located in Lancaster, or around that area. I don’t remember much of it, except that it wasn’t your average course. It was set in the woods, a very nice walk through the course, and seemed geared more towards adults or older children because it was missing a lot of the big plaster “obstacles”. If anyone knows the name, or location of this course, please let me know!
Thanks!
is it overlook falls? thats the only one i’ve played in lancaster.
