Please help me set up the equations!!!! I have a lot of trouble with “let” statements and things like that
A store sells the Red Dot golf balls for 60 cents each, the Black Dot balls for 94 cents each and the Gold Dot ball for $1.10 each. A golf pro bought two dozen more Red Dot than Gold DOt balls and three times as many Black Dot as Red Dot balls. If the golf balls and one dollar’s worth of tees cost 140.50, how many gold balls of each kind were bought?
Let red dot = x
Let black dot = y
Let gold dot = z

What can I use to pack a set of golf clubs and bag?
Any ideas on what i can use to pack or box up a golf bag with a set of clubs? I called the local sporting goods store to see if they had any empty leftover golf boxes from their merchandise but said they did not.
Can i tape 2 boxes together to make one long enclosure? Any ideas would help. Thanks in advance.
umm i would say that would be fine just use a bunch of tape
or you can buy the boxes used for clothing you dont want wrinkled and you can put a rack in those would probably workl
Do they still even sell/make the original o3 Red? What happened to it?
I’m interested;also, not interested in buying it from some place like ebay.
I searched tennis-warehouse, which they dont have it, I looked on Golfsmith, Sports Authority, SportChlaet, etc.
I currently use the Prince Ozone Seven. I’m feeling as though it is a bit overpowering sometimes when I really want to go for big shots. So now I’m looking for a heavier, a bit more control yet somewhat decent power oriented racquet, say, like. The Speedport Pro White?
What do you think?
Help.
i use the speedport white raquet and its awesome
i got to my first usta tournament final using this raquet
it mostly describes your game
i am an offensive baseline player.
i overpower my opponents and luv short rallies
this raquet also has good angle
i hit alot of balls on the line makiing it difficult to hit
i play exactly like Maria Sharapova. Except i dnt grunt like her.
any ways..i used prince raquets all my life.
i used Prince Powerline,Prince shark, and now the Prince speedport white
you should try this awesome raquet
to see the reviews just go to
www.tenniswarehouse.com and www.tennisexpress.com
and i think the only sell the original 03 white and 03 tour..
and my coach uses the 03 red..
its not really powerful but its a good raquet with alot of spin
Jelena Jankovic used that raquet..But now she uses the Speedport white like me.
i think she switched b/c she needed more power and not just rely on her defensive game
Good Luck!!!
I’m planning on getting some new irons. I’m tall and need 1/2″ extra length clubs with a 2 degree upright lie. Does anyone know where you can order custom fit clubs online? I was hoping to find a better deal online but can’t get standard length clubs.
Thanks
i dont think you can order fitted custom clubs off internet.. i think you have to go to a shop and get them personally fitted.. thats what i did
I am a beginning golfer played first 18 this weekend. Was looking at a used set of Wilson 1200 GE set with golf bag for 55 bucks. Is that a good price for that set. Haven’t been able to find any reviews on the clubs other than that they are older clubs. Just asking for the price they good beginner clubs for someone just starting out. Add says they have only been used 2 or 3 times
meh thats not really that good, i found this set on ebay, just look at it it looks pretty good. \

I want to learn how to golf and I already bought a set from a garage sale that is crummy so I want to buy a new set. What would be the best set to buy for a beginner looking to spend around 300 dollars and were would I buy it.
I’d rather pay a little more then 200dollars and get a set that isn’t “crap” . Because if its a set that is that junky I’d just stick with my garage sale ones
You know what? As long as the grips are all right stick with the ones you got for the first year. You know what the average handicap was 40 years ago? 17. You know what the average hanciap is now? 17. So dispite all the technology it hasn’t really made any real difference. Don’t be sucked in by the promise of new clubs will hit it straighter and further, you still need a swing and ability to score well. It would be cheaper and wiser to spend the money on lessons. They will do more for you than new clubs.

Why is Volkswagen of America much slower bringing new models?
So for the past two generation golfs and jettas, VW of America waited more than a year to start selling newer models in America after it went on sale in the EU, or rest of popular countries. Can anybody answer why this is even possible?
I mean anybody look up what’s out there in the world by going online, and if the new-looking, all brand-new hardare vehicles out there in the rest of countries already, don’t they lose sales of current models significantly?
As a customer, I see this kind of lateness as to play dumb with American customers like we don’t know what’s new out there, and they are trying to make as much profit as they can with older models with better profit margin.
From the VW side, their argument might be it takes that long to conform with American emissions and safety regulations, then why all the other auto manufacturer is much quicker introducing their new models to the American market?(especially Japanese auto companies like Lexus and Subaru)
Volkswagen is into perfecting the model not replacing and changing. Their theory is people want a better car and not another look with the same problem.
I want to start an online golf store. How do I get name brand equipment at a wholesale price?
There seem to be any number of websites based in China that are clearly selling counterfeit clubs but can’t seem to find any legit info on getting clubs wholesale. Thanks.
You have to start with a federal tax id number. then you call titleist, taylor made, callaway, nike, mizuno, adams, wilson, and so on and see if they will put you on a buying program or if you have to purchase a la carte. if you make a large enough commitment to them, you can get that wholesale price down. Otherwise you need a new plan…like….profit off balls, tees, gloves, etc…let clubs be the draw.
You will not get pricing til you show you have a taxidnumber and start talking to their marketing reps. You can get all the other purveyors talking in the meantime…clubs are not easy…you are looking at about 80 grande to get started just in ironsets/drivers/wedges/putters/hybrids..that is bare bones…..til you get on a buying program.
you can show a profit in clubs if you get into clubmaking and sell custom sets. golfsmith has a good buying program for clubmakers who buy in bulk from them…this is their models only, not other name brands. but some of those golfsmith clubheads are fantastic…i still play with a driver head from them…best i ever owned. and their forged irons are as good as any mizunos or titleists you can buy.
Good luck.
