I am buying my husband a set for Christmas, and since he just gave his old set away, I have NO idea what he had or what to compare it to. He is an intermediate golfer, and had mentioned at one point about going to a pawn shop to get one, but I am NOT leaning towards that at all. I would rather go out and get him a nice new set. Any help on the top 2 or 3??
i would also say definatly get a gift certificate but also consider value for your money try to stay away from the constant barrage of the pga club makers and followers poss try to look into brands such as adams there is alot of options adams you can get a real nice set of clubs with hybrids for about half of what a new set of nikes cost and also always look at 1 or 2 year old models they are like new cars the drop significantly every year good luck and have fun

PGAValueGuide.com is the recognized standard for used golf club values. It is the bible for any place such as Golf Galaxy or Callaway Pre-Owned that is involved with club trade ins. If your club or set isn’t in the PGA Value Guide, it is virtually worthless.

I’m looking for a decent set with graphite woods and steel irons that aren’t pink. I’m looking in the range of 200-350. Does anyone know what brand has these?
I have a ladies Square 2 set I got at half price. I was told they were sold to Adam’s golf. I have upgraded to Cobra for woods and Lynx for irons (I could hit them better than the woods). I am trying to figure out what to do with the starter set.
One thing to consider is the size of you hands if you get a ladies set. I have long fingers and the grips on ladies clubs can be small. I had men’s grips put on my irons and they feel much better.
You can get ladies clubs at Golfsmith or a PGA store. Also Academy has them but not a big selection
I am just beginning to golf and need some clubs.

Top Flight is now made by Callaway which is one of the main suppliers in golf. Before that, Top Flight was known for cheap, crappy products for years. Even though Callaway now owns them and makes the equipment, its really hard for the consumer to let go of that stereotype.

A good women’s beginner set is a tough one. I was in the same boat finding my wife a set and never found one.

All make great sets for women, but not in your price range. The only thing you have left for your budget would be a cheap-o (NEW) set of clubs or a good (USED) set of brand name clubs.
Good luck, it was a pain for me to find ones that I would be happy getting her.

It depends on what state you live in. In the state of North Carolina where I live, if the engine is under a certain size, you can drive it without a license. Such as a moped, as long as the engine does not exceed the size limit, you can drive it without a license.
