I know how frustrating it can be to find the right set of golf clubs, especially for the right price! I did my fair share of research before I decided to go with Snake Eyes clubs from Golfsmith. During my research I would always appreciate any sort of review or feedback from actual users about the product I was looking at. And that is why I chose to write this article. I hope the information here will help you while deciding which clubs are right for you!
I use the following Snake Eyes golf clubs with great confidence.
Driver – Ti-460 driver head, Pro-launch 65 Wood shaft, and Snake Eyes G8 grip
I love this driver! It is easy to hit and offers tremendous ball control. I have the 10.5 degree model and I probably would have been even better off with the 9.5 degree since I naturally have a higher trajectory. It feels and sounds good when striking the ball which makes using this club all that much more enjoyable for me. I used to have a pretty bad slice, but after working with this club I can now hit the ball straight and a lot farther too.
Fairway Woods – Quick Strike II Utility Wood Heads, Adila Gamer Hybrid shaft and Snake Eyes Velvet grips
The best thing about these clubs is the sound! I have two of these, one with a 15 degree loft and one with a 19 degree loft. I use the 15 degree as I would a 3 or 5 wood, but I feel it is more versatile. I am able to use these as easily and effectively in the rough as I do in the fairway, which was hard for me to do with a regular 3 wood. I use the 19 degree club as I would a 3 or 4 iron.
Irons – Python O/S Iron Head, Snake Eyes XL-90 shaft, Snake Eyes velvet grip
These irons are very forgiving. I do not have the most consistent swing but you could not tell by how well the ball comes off of the club. They feel well constructed and have given me more confidence in my game. I only bought the odd numbered clubs to start out with but will soon get the rest.

Golf Putters?
For my set of clubs. I have an OK set of clubs that are great but my putter is an old heavey one that you use at a putt-putt centre. Its real heavy for a putter and I need a new one.
I dont want a brand new one as that is too much and I need to inprve my game HEAPS before I buy brand new things.
I am looking at buying a half decent putter at a garage sale. What do you think would be a good price for a half decent putter to buy.
And when I get around to selling my old club. Should I try to get 5 buks, or give it away to a charity or for free at the garage sale????
Thanks
I would buy a bramd new putter for $50 max.
how much you pay for a putter new or old is entirely your decision however I would suggest dont be in a hurry to buy. You will find as you play more golf your requirements will change. you can always go to a golf shop and try some on a practice green to give you a better idea about what suits you best

discount golf clubs shop?
I am 15 years old. i just begin to play golf. recently i used my friend’s clubs to play and i want to buy inexpensive clubs for myself. is there any discount golf clubs online shop i can buy decent and inexpensive clubs.
Be wary of online stores you have never heard of, especially if the prices for new clubs seem too good to be true. Much of this is counterfeit. Rockbottom is legit,as is TGW, Golfsmith, and the big boxes. Look for closeouts or discounted merchandise, there are a lot of great deals out there right now. You may even want to look at ebay, but there I would stick with very good condition used clubs from sellers with lots of positive feedback.

With the Callaway Golf GES set of 7 clubs what do you use in sand?
I just got the Callaway GES club set that I bought on Ebay. It has three woods, three irons which are I think are hybrids but these are my first golf clubs so I’m a bit confused and a putter. There is no wedge, or at least nothing that says it is a wedge. The clubs are all labeled as driver, long fairway wood, mid fairway wood, long iron, mid iron, short iron and obviously putter. So I am curious if anyone knows which of these clubs I would use in sand? Right now I am just practicing driving but eventually I want to play on a course so will need to know which to use. Thanks to anyone who can help me out.
Out of the sand you want to play the club that has the most loft. That way the ball will get out easier. I recommend using your short iron for greenside bunkers (Ones right by the green) and I reccomend your mid iron for fairway bunkers (Ones far from the hole along the fairway)

THOUGHTS…Is it better to buy name brand golf clubs, generic size, or no name custom fit clubs?
I AM LOOKING TO GET A NEW SET OF IRONS THIS SEASON. AT 6′0″, 215 LBS FIT WITH A SWING SPEED OF ABOUT 80-90 MPH, I AM WHAT YOU WOULD CONSIDER A “MIDDLE-HANDICAPPER”. AFTER DEMOING SEVERAL CLUBS AND READING MANY REVIEWS, THE NIKE SLINGSHOTS ARE THE FRONT RUNNERS. HOWEVER, SEVERAL PEOPLE HAVE TOLD ME THAT I WOULD GET MORE FOR MY MONEY IF I GOT CUSTOM FIT, NO NAME BRAND CLUBS. YOUR THOUGHTS ARE WELCOME. THANKS! (SORRY FOR THE CAPS, YAHOO THINKS IT IS RUDE!)
Either way you decide to go you should get the irons custom fit. For some reason the golf consumer believes that name-brand clubs off the rack are “better.” This is simply false.
If the average Joe could witness the hours of tweeking that go into a touring pro’s clubs, then they’d realize that it’s not the name on the clubhead, it the custom fitting that makes it all work.
To get everything just right, your swing has to be analyzed either with computer or by lots of experimentation or, preferably, by both.
A book that you may benefit greatly from is Tom Wishon’s “The Search for the Perfect Golf Club.” (See link 1)
See link 2 for a quick Q&A discussing custom clubfitting.
No, I do not work for nor am I associated with Wishon Golf in any way, shape, or form. I actually play a set of Golfworks irons, TaylorMade driver (a gift…would never have spent that much on a driver), and a SeeMore putter (like Payne Stewart’s).
