the golf stop
I need a very dense, tall fast growing hedge to stop golf balls from coming into my yard…?

I have a home in Northeast Florida on the backside of a golf practice range and am having a problem with golf balls continually flying into my yard, some at fast speeds that I fear could hurt somone. I’d like to plant a dense tall hedge instead of asking the golf club to put up an ugly fence. Any ideas about plants that would slow down a fast moving golf ball and grow well in a coastal north Florida, shady environmenst?

Get the golf range to put up containment nets so you don’t get hurt. Then grow whatever you’d like to screen the nets.

clubs golf bag
What can I use to pack a set of golf clubs and bag?

Any ideas on what i can use to pack or box up a golf bag with a set of clubs? I called the local sporting goods store to see if they had any empty leftover golf boxes from their merchandise but said they did not.
Can i tape 2 boxes together to make one long enclosure? Any ideas would help. Thanks in advance.

umm i would say that would be fine just use a bunch of tape

or you can buy the boxes used for clothing you dont want wrinkled and you can put a rack in those would probably workl

best answer please

golf scramble best ball rules
Is it okay to play best ball golf when you’re not actually in a Texas Scramble tournament?

I’m going golfing with my hubby tomorrow. We used to go a handful of times a year (started about 6 years ago) but then I was pregant & it’s tough to get a sitter for a newborn early on a Sunday morning… so we never played for the past few years.

I’ve been 2x this year. I love it! I forgot how fun it was!! We were never GOOD (I only drive like 100-140 yds so we play the local par 3 courses mostly – usually 9-holes and we score like 45-50 with a 10-second rule in play and a couple mutually agreed upon do-overs when we both mess up :-) I like the walk & being outdoors & the challenge of pulling the right club & then actually having a decent shot with it. I like the practice. In several years time maybe we WILL be better at it. We’re thinking we should both go take a lesson or two.

My question: if it’s just the 2 of us, playing for fun & we both agree, could we play a best ball game or is that weird? Would it be strange seeing 2 beginners playing best ball on a course?

Thanks!

sure

golf tees personalized
Where is the best place to buy personalized golf tees?

Does anyone know of a website that can quickly show me the best places to buy personalized golf tees online?

I just spent a week researching where to get personalized golf tees myself and I finally found this site:

http://www.Personalized-Golf-Tees-Online.com

This is absolutely the authority site for buying personalized golf tees.

It lays out the top 4 websites that produce personalized golf tees, and is filled with customer reviews and plenty of articles.

Hope this helps :D

golf balls 101
Just wondering what kind of golf clubs people are hitting?

Just curious as to what some people on this website are hitting club/ball wise.

For me it’s:

Driver: Nike Sasquatch 460 9.5 w/ ACCRA XC 75 shaft
Fairway: Nike Sasquatch 5 wood
Hybrid: 3H Nike Ignite
Irons: (4-W) Niker Ignite
Wedges: Nike SV 52*, Nike TW Wedge 56* and 60*
Putter: Nike B.C-101
Ball: Varies. Callaways/Titleist/Nike/Taylormades

Saving up for a new set of irons and hopefully a Nike Unitized Techno putter.

Driver: Callaway Big Bertha 454
Fairway: Callaway X 3-Wood

Irons: Mizuno MP-60 (3-PW)
Wedges: Taylormade Rac Black TP 56* / Rac Black 52*

Does golf ball compression ratings still mean anything when choosing a golf ball to play?

Does a player with a slow swing speed/ball speed still need to consider a low compresion ball when choosing a ball in todays market?

Technically yes. Practically speaking, it’s not likely that you will notice unless you are a scratch golfer.

If you are a duffer like me, you buy your balls based on how tough the cover is and how cheap they are.

Reviews of Visiball golf ball finding sunglasses?

Answers only from people who have bought or tried them out, please.

My friend bought a pair and we both found them to be pretty dumb. Basically they seem to filter light similar to how things look under a blacklight so that white things show up as brighter. What they don’t mention is that this works for anything that is white or light colored and since you can’t really see very well through these things except color differences it ends up highlighting every little bit of junk on the course and not just balls. This was especially brutal on our regular course as there are a lot of cottonwood trees on the back 9 that dump white fluffy seeds all over the place like snow during this time of year.
