Is it considered rude to puke on a golf course(in the USA)?

As an Englishman who owns many major US based companies I feel I must ask this.
Recently I was playing a round of golf at a lovely members only club in L.A, as I am English and “like a drink” I decided to stash 24 cans of Tennants Super(9%) in my golf bag and cart.
By the time I had reached the Par 5 14th I had swigged 17 of the cans of rocket fuel and felt like puking(to make some more room), so I aimed my technicolour rainbow at the nearest bunker. To my surprise a American was playing a shot out of the sand at the time and was none to pleased. As I punched him I considered I may have been a little rude.
Miss Yellowfish-you have always been my “star”.
Wau out there-hi how are you?I think more like your nightmares

Only if before the 12th., after that, as in your case, it is considered perfectly acceptable

travel bags golf
golf travel bags?

I am confused with regard to golf travel bags. Are they supposed to slip over your regular bag or are they independent bags all together? Many that I have seen appear to be of the latter, which makes me wonder what you are supposed to do when you arrive at your destination. Do you then need to rent a proper bag for the course?

Both types are available.
You can buy a travel bag that also is your playing bag when you reach your destination. These are always a hard shell bag. They tend to be smaller in diameter than your normally playing bag so you may not be able to take all of your sticks. The top detaches so it performs like small golf bag.

If you take your own playing bag then you can get two types of travel bags.

One is the soft shell type that is heavily padded but doesn’t stand alone or stack well. Can be a bit cumbersome and difficult when going through an airport. Airport security always inspects soft shell carry bags so that may be a hassle.

The other type is a hard shell travel bag. They provide the most protection for your clubs. They can be easily maneuvered through an airport and will stand upright. Both come in various sizes depending on what size playing bag you take. I always wrap towels around the club heads in all of the types of travel bags just for added security and protection.

I think you wanted to know the difference between travel bags, didn’t you?
Not which travel bag someone might think is the best, right?

How do I find a hard cover golf travel bag that fits my golf bag?

I have a Nike Sasquatch Tour carry bag that I want to bring when I fly to Florida this summer. I want to find a decent hard cover travel case that will fit my bag. Any help? Thanks.

tgw.com has a great selection of travel golf bags and they also have the sizing in the descriptions, as there are several different sizes (stand/tour/cart) Not to mention TGW has a president’s day sale going on now to until Tuesday midnight! Being an owner of a hard sytle travel case, let me make 1 suggestion to make your time at the airport bearable as these bags are a pain to push around the terminal….curbside check in!!!!!
