I hear so much about the US military being over rated because of wars like Kosovo and Vietnam etc. But i think the rules of engagment and media greatly constrict the military’s ability to wage war properly. Also history has shown it to be near impossible to win against a guriella force. I think if the US went to a conventional war with a strong nation with no restrictions (only geniva rules) would dominate. Look at the first golf war. What do you think…do these modern conflict accuratly portray the capibilities of the us military or not.
LZ zulu great answer….my point exactly…war is war if you wont let your own soldiers kill people that are trying to kill you then you should be charged as a traitor.
let me put it this way:
a couple months ago, me and my platoon had an HVT( a wanted bomb maker) right in front of us, we could have put a bullet in his head and been done, but command said to let him go because there was a 7% chance that it was the wrong person. days later, a bomb went off, killing several people. The same person we let go was the culprit.
in other words, our military is capable of incredible things, it’s the “rules of war”(Irony) set up by liberal hippies that r leting us down

I know, I know, he’s a basketball player, albeit a very mediocre one at that. But I think (note the speculation) that once he hangs up those basketball shoes, he’ll try the sport of golf. Reason being that Kobe, being the greatest ball hog in NBA history, has proven that the least thing he likes is sharing the ball. Now if he tried out golf, there would be no one to share the ball with (he can dominate all those balls with ruthless abandon). Now wouldn’t that be great for a ball hogger like Kobe Bryant? And I think he’s gonna excel in that “ME” sport, even dominate better and much longer that Tiger Woods, who in my opinion is kinda overrated anyway.

I’d like to know what the average golf statistics are by handicap range.?
Avg driving distances, fairways hit, greeens in regulation, no. of putts, up and down percentages and sand save percentages for various handicap ranges, (ie; 0-5, 6-10,11-15, 16-20,21-25)
I wondered the same thing. I found interesting…the golf channel tour keeps track of its players statistics and they have five or six flights based on handicap. You can check out how each player in each flight has done on average…pretty cool.
