Have you ever played in the Golf Channel Amateur Tour?
I have seen the advertisement for the Golf Channel Amateur tour sponsored by Sky Caddie. Have you ever played in this tour and what did you think about it? Was it expensive? Is it worth it?
I have not participated but know some people who have. It seems to be very well run, not terribly expensive and populated by mid single digit handicappers and above. Not a lot of really good players, but that is probably because in my state (Indiana) we have a fantastic golf association that has a full calendar of events and all the really skilled players compete there. So if you are a decent golfer looking for some fun competition it seems like a good place to play.
