When is the 2010 VW Golf TDI available for purchase?

I’ve been trying to find out an actual date of when these cars will be available in the US. All I can find so far is “Fall 2009″. I’m looking for a day they are released, not just the month or the season.

well i just check http://www.vw.com/golf/en/us/ and it says now available at your local dealer. The local Dealer here in Vancouver/Portland area Have the 2010 Jetta and Passat TDI’s at their dealer so i am sure if you go in and ask they can find a GTI for you..
